Upon turning 40, I set a goal of participating in my first triathlon. I had been running on and off over the years, but I was bored with my routine and wasn't at all satisfied with my level of conditioning. I decided that it was then -- or maybe never-- regarding doing the triathlon. In sum, I trained incredibly hard for a period of 8 months and not only achieved my goal, but I participated in over 60 triathlons, including 4 Ironman events. The photo features me in Hawaii finishing the exclusive "Iron-Man" Triathlon Event. It was a life changing experience for me as I realized that life is as much about the journey as it is achieving the goal. And upon returning home to New Jersey, I decided that it was time for another goal and journey that I had set aside for too long.
So after many years of providing high quality landscape design and services working for other firms, I decided that a "Fresh Start" was needed and finally launched my own company-- Fresh Start Design/Build Group. At Fresh Start, we believe that the ONLY way to operate our business is to provide a combination of fresh, high-quality and affordable design/build services for a wide variety of clients including both residential and commercial projects.
